The Professional Work Experience of Denis Somoso

In Manila he was advised by me and some of his friends to take a CPA board exam but he refused because He doesn’t have a planned to take that CPA Board Examination. He just replied that he preferred to take CIA or Certified Internal Auditor Exam than Certified Public Accountant because CPA in the Philippines is not recognized internationally unlike CIA but because he live independently, he even told me sometimes that his pocket is about empty and he needs to work until he got a new job as Accounting Assistant at S.C. Vizzcarra Group, U.N. Avenue, Manila. He resigned from his first job after 3 months because of poor management system. As he applied the proper Accounting standard, he found out that there were a lot of fouls in the system which he talked with his boss regarding the matter that the company needs to comply standards and he was scheduled to have a meeting with the President of the company but he just receives a negative reply. He was thinking for a secured future so he decided to resign because he found out that there is nothing to wait and to work for in such kind of management system.

His second job was Internal Auditor of PHIMCO Industries, Inc., a manufacturing firm in Sta. Ana, Manila and he work for 6 months contract. Before the renewal of his new contract for regularity, he talked wih his boss about the job offer to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ( Middle East), he had inform his boss that he might not renew a contract because he was called by a Saudi Arabian Company the Mohammad Al Mojil Group to work with them. That point, he feels the demand of his skills and profession in any company. He accepted the offer of the MMG Mohammad Almojil Group and worked with them from July 2007 to June 2008 1 year contract but because of his excellent performance, he were given the task beyond his job description. He handles Accounts Payable for all foreign accounts, Accounts recievable, and multitask a lot of job function in the Accounting Department. He even handled the Administrative and supplies for the department. he were even granted a first ever granted employee to have an early vacation after 10 months of service and entitled for all the benefits and serve as finished contract for 1 year.

His boss doesn’t know that when he was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he suffered a lot for inconsistent climate, which he always encounter a nose bleeding, the feeling of being uncompensated, discrimination from Saudi Nationals, and bias system in the management which triggers him to go home and will never back again so he decided to not to renew his contract. Unluckily, his agency the LVW Construction Corporation Recruitment agency wants to put him behind bars. His agency filed a case against him to be bar forever from working overseas after refusing not to sign another contract. His first hearing scheduled September 15, 2008 at POEA Office under Atty. Ochavillo, the Hearing Officer. Fortunately, the complainant didn't appear. It just merely shows that LWV is just wanting to destroy his name and they are not so interested in the case, or the LWV is just making a delaying tactics so he could not find another job abroad but after the second hearing dated October 9, 2008 still the complainant didn't appear and the case was finally dismissed. With the help of Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Senator Dick Gordon and Senator Chiz Escudero, with his Chief of Staff Atty. Rolando P. Tan, The justice comes out and he won the case.

That lawsuit affects him and bothered him so much. Instead of grabbing the opportunities comes and knock at his door, he wont able to do it because of his worry for the result of the case since his opponent is rich and influential. After the result of the case, he met another friend who were called by the POEA for he same case. He tried to Help such person named Anthony Pareja from Loreto, Dinagat Island. He shared so techniques and evidence to counter attack the lies and baseless complaint from the complainant. His friend now is still on the case process and hopefully he would win the case too so that such abusing recruitment agency will stop their bias act.
